Responsibilities
- As someone with subject matter expertise, provide regulatory expert review of output from the automated regulatory mapping solution for obligation generation and matching to controls to satisfy customer deliverables and improve the quality of the automated solution
Support all aspects of Regulatory Mapping for select customers. Specifically:
Quality assurance of regulatory obligations and control mapping deliverables for customers
- Customer results analysis and presentation
- Ad hoc customer analysis
- Provide SME input to customer meetings and provide data and clarification where necessary.
- Work closely with the Customer Delivery teams to support the enhancement and development of specific customer relationships throughout all stages of the relationship lifecycle. Specifically, understanding customer data, business organisational structure and product offering, and business problems to tailor analytics accordingly.
- Contribute to the consistent application of Data Technical Standards to regulatory mapping content and beyond.
- Contribute as necessary to supporting sales activities, especially pilots and proofs of concept
- Collaborate with the Product team to provide customer insights and feedback for further product enhancements
- Collaborate with the Insights and Analytics team on the results of the regulatory mapping process which may have implications for other client or CUBE data
Knowledge and experience:
- Able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of regulations and the regulatory environment having gained extensive experience in regulatory related role (e.g. in Regulatory Change, Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Policy, Office of Legal Obligations / Laws, Rules and Regulations).
- Highly knowledgeable on the key regulations faced by our customers, e.g. regulations across jurisdictions related to market conduct, market abuse, market integrity, margin and capital requirements for OTC derivatives, market infrastructure, financial crime, prudential regulation operational resilience, cybersecurity
- Understanding of Non Financial Risk Management core processes e.g. Risk and Control Self Assessments, incident management, read across / lessons learnt.
- Experienced with internal audit, external audit and ideally regulators – and understanding of areas of regulatory scrutiny targeting governance and controls (e.g. SMCR).
- Proven ability to engage with and present effectively to customers and prospects at different levels of client organisations.
- Experience of preparing for and presenting effectively to customers and other third parties to bring data analysis to life in a relevant and compelling way.
- Able to clearly and succinctly articulate and promote the regulatory mapping product offering.
- A pragmatic self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills, with impeccable attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying and time-pressured deliverables.
- Strong track record of project management and project delivery.
- Flexible, supportive, collaborative, contributing positively to our strong team dynamic and culture.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
