Senior Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst to join our MiFIR Reporting Team. In this critical role, you will provide subject matter expertise in Post Trade (RTS 1 & 2), MiFIR Transaction (RTS 22), and MiFIR Instrument (RTS 23) reporting. You will play a key part in advising clients, supporting product development, and shaping regulatory change initiatives, while also collaborating with onboarding, Sales, and Relationship Management teams to ensure seamless client engagement with Kaizen.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Expertise & Advisory


• Act as the primary subject matter expert for MiFIR RTS 1 & 2, RTS 22, and RTS 23

regulations.


• Provide specialist support via the Kaizen Helpdesk, resolving complex client queries.


• Monitor and analyze legislative developments across UK and EU jurisdictions.


• Represent Kaizen at industry working groups.


• Design and deliver training on MiFIR Post Trade reporting to clients and internal teams.

Product Development & Testing


• Define and document testing requirements for new legislation within our ReportShield

platform.


• Work closely with IT teams to prioritize, implement, and validate regulatory changes.


• Support major system migrations, including ReportShield's AWS transition and

automated client onboarding initiatives.

Training & Knowledge Management


• Develop training materials and resources reflecting the latest regulatory updates.


• Deliver tailored training sessions to internal teams and external stakeholders.


• Update and refine existing documentation to align with evolving legislation.


• Lead specialized RTS 1 & 2 training programmes.

Client Support & Business Development


• Resolve complex client issues on both emerging and established regulations.


• Support onboarding teams to ensure smooth client integration.


• Collaborate with Sales and Relationship Managers to provide subject matter input

during prospect and client engagements.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Technical Skills


• Deep knowledge of MiFID Post Trade Reporting, RTS 22 & RTS 23.


• Strong understanding of front-to-back transaction processes across both buy and sell

side firms.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and the ability to translate business

requirements into technical specifications.

• Skilled in building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.


• Track record of process improvement and innovation.


• Background in financial services operations.


• Understanding of UK and EU legislative processes.

Desirable Qualifications


• Degree or equivalent professional experience.


• Knowledge of SQL and AWS (advantageous).


• Familiarity with additional regulatory regimes (EMIR, SFTR).


• An understanding of Swiss FinFrag Article 39 would be an advantage
