About The Role:
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 08.30 – 16.30

This is a 1 year fixed term contract.

We are seeking a reliable and professional Hospitality Support Operative to join our team at a prestigious site within Covent Garden. This is a maternity cover position combining hospitality support with cleaning duties to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience for building occupants and visitors.

Responsibilities:
Hospitality Support

  • Prepare/set up meeting rooms ahead of and post meetings and events
  • Provide refreshments and manage hospitality services for meetings and events
  • Monitor and replenish hospitality supplies such as tea, coffee, etc
  • Assist with event coordination and client-facing activities

Cleaning Duties

  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks in offices, meeting rooms, communal areas, etc
  • Replenish consumables if required such as soap, paper towels, etc
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and report any faults promptly
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation throughout the building

General

  • Follow site-specific schedules and instructions from management
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations including COSHH compliance
  • Report any security, safety or maintenance concerns to management
  • Deliver a professional and courteous service at all times

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or cleaning roles preferred
  • Experience in a similar environment desirable
  • Strong customer service skills and professional presentation
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good attention to detail and reliability
  • Good degree of written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation such as COSHH, risk assessments, hygiene standards, basic health and safety
  • Training certification to NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning or Customer Service
