This is a seasonal role to help our clients through the festive period, but we are actively looking for long-term team members. After a successful 6-month probation, you will be offered a guaranteed transition to a permanent contract.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Community Carer, you will deliver essential, person-centred care, promoting the independence and dignity of our clients.

  • Hands-on Support: Assisting with personal care, administering medication, preparing meals, and helping with mobility.
  • Companionship: Providing emotional support and meaningful connection during your visits.
  • Documentation: Keeping accurate and confidential records of care delivered.
  • Travel: Safely and reliably traveling between client homes within East Devon.

You don't need previous care experience—we provide full, paid training What you do need is the right attitude and commitment:

  • A truly caring and compassionate nature.
  • Reliability and excellent communication skills.
  • The flexibility to work shifts between 7am–10pm, including alternate weekends.
  • Essential: A valid driving licence and access to a reliable car (due to the location of our clients).
  • Bonus: Health & Social Care qualifications (NVQ/Diploma Level 2 or 3) are a plus, but we can help you achieve them
