Kitchen Assistant (Full Time, Day Shift)
Location: Berry Way, Chorley PR7 6RA
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £21,168 / £12.60 per hour + £14.10 overtime
Evermore Care is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our outstanding, Astley View Residential Care Home, in Chorley. About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll work closely with our Head Chef to create a warm and welcoming dining experience for our residents. From preparing and serving meals to keeping our kitchen and dining areas stocked, spotless and safe - your contribution will help ensure every resident enjoys nutritious food in a clean, comfortable environment. It's a varied and rewarding role where your attention to detail and care for others will truly shine.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a similar kitchen or catering environment
- Understanding of safe food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and cleaning practices
- Awareness of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health), infection control, and Health & Safety regulations
