Key Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Engagement

  • Meet allocated financial targets for new business income, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Engage proactively with customers and prospects to provide accurate product information, answer queries, and support applications.
  • Build relationships as a key point of contact for new product and renewal enquiries.
  • Identify opportunities for customer referrals to Field Officers.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to inbound and outbound calls in line with agreed service standards and SLAs.
  • Focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness in all customer interactions

Marketing and Relationship Support

  • Suggest new marketing activities to support business growth and customer retention.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Field Teams to share customer insights and improve engagement.
  • Support the Field Team at events or represent MPFS independently when required.

Process and Service Improvement

  • Contribute to improving service delivery and the customer journey.
  • Follow agreed processes and procedures accurately.
  • Suggest updates to improve efficiency, service quality, and role effectiveness.
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by the Chief Executive Officer.

Essential Skills/Competences

  • Experience in a sales environment
  • At least two years' experience working in a customer facing role in financial services industry. This could be working in a bank or building society and helping customers open/manage their savings or investments accounts or loans.
  • Motivated and driven by achieving financial and service targets.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using IT systems.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptable and flexible in response to workload changes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, remaining calm and professional under pressure
