Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to provide cleaning cover for 2 weeks at one of our sites in Alperton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across a large residential block close to Alperton station -you will be required to clean the communal space - working alongside the cleaning supervisor on site.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, small kitchen, and communal areas to high standards
  • Out bins out and bring back in on bin day
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet their specific cleaning requirements
  • Ensure all areas are kept organised and presentable throughout the shift

Experience

  • Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is desirable
  • Good communication skills in English are essential for effective teamwork and customer interaction
  • Customer service skills are beneficial, particularly when engaging with clients or visitors
