Job Description – Early Years Practitioner

As an Early Years Practitioner with us, you'll be responsible for:

  • Following all our policies, as well as adhering to the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation, and Ofsted and The Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines.

  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times, both on and off our premises.

  • Possibly taking on key-holder responsibilities.

  • Working closely with your colleagues, ensuring effective communication, and providing day-to-day care and supervision to the children.

  • Planning and preparing activities to support the children's developmental needs.

  • Communicating with parents daily, offering feedback and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

  • Promoting equal opportunities for all children and following individual programs for those with special educational needs.

  • Recording accidents, incidents, and risk assessments accurately and where applicable.

  • Attending staff meetings, training sessions, and other events.

Requirements:

  • Preferably 2 years of childcare experience

  • Required 2 years of nursery experience

  • Mandatory childcare qualification - Level 3 or above

  • Advanced DBS

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,400 - £28,000 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
