The Role
We are looking for a skilled
Curriculum Manager
to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of curriculum across professional training pathways. This pivotal role will ensure high-quality, engaging, and industry-relevant learning experiences for Apprenticeship and Bootcamp programmes.
You will develop new programmes, refresh existing content, and create bespoke solutions for employer needs. You will be mapping learning journeys, design comprehensive teaching materials, develop assessments, and ensure all content is compliant, inclusive, and aligned with industry standards.
Collaboration is central: you will work with trainers, IQA teams, sales, marketing, and senior leadership to ensure smooth implementation and successful delivery. You will also champion digital learning tools, including LMS platforms such as OneFile, Moodle, SCORM, and virtual learning environments, to deliver accessible and engaging learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Apprenticeship, Bootcamp, and commercial training programmes.
- Create high-quality curriculum materials, including schemes of work, lesson plans, workbooks, slides, practical activities, and assessments.
- Ensure all content meets regulatory standards, Ofsted expectations, and internal quality assurance requirements.
- Support trainers, coaches, and sales teams to enable effective programme delivery.
- Continuously review and enhance curriculum based on feedback, performance data, and sector trends.
- Present curriculum solutions to employers and develop bespoke learning offerings where required.
- Leverage digital learning tools and LMS platforms to deliver programmes effectively across multiple channels.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in curriculum design or development within Apprenticeships, Further Education, or vocational training.
- Experience with CIPD Apprenticeships in HR, Learning & Development, or People Management.
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience delivering or supporting apprenticeship programmes or professional training.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks and expectations.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.
Desirable:
- Degree or relevant professional qualification.
- Additional assessor or teaching qualifications.
