An enthusiastic Science Teacher with a specialism and passion for Chemistry is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Enfield. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 to 5 with the fundamental principles of chemistry and its real-world applications.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons with a focus on Chemistry across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-Level Science (Chemistry) examinations.
  • Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment for chemical exploration and experimentation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Science (Chemistry), providing clear and constructive feedback to support their learning.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Chemistry or Science with a strong Chemistry background.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4), with A-Level Chemistry experience being advantageous.
  • A strong and comprehensive knowledge of chemical principles and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex chemical concepts clearly and engagingly to students of all levels.
