An Outstanding mixed school in Enfield requires a dedicated Science Teacher with a Chemistry specialism, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. The ideal Science Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on Chemistry. We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher to join us immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum, focusing on Chemistry.
  • Prepare students for upcoming assessments and examinations.
  • Develop students' scientific understanding and practical skills, especially in Chemistry.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of science resources.
  • Organise and lead chemistry-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science, with a focus on Chemistry.
  • Proven experience in teaching science at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Chemistry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Availability to start ASAP.
