We are looking for a motivated Junior Technical Support Specialist to join our growing tech team. This role plays an important part in supporting our clients and internal teams by helping troubleshoot issues, ensuring system stability, and assisting with the setup and maintenance of our IoT and remote monitoring solutions.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about technology, eager to learn, and have a burning desire to help resolve challenges within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with our partners to proactively discover new solutions and liaise with our developers and engineers to bring these to life whilst gaining hands-on experience with innovative systems & tools and ultimately contributing to projects that make a real impact.
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our Technical Support team in a full-time capacity. In this junior role, your main duties will include:
- Delivering technical support and troubleshooting assistance to partners through phone, email, and chat.
- Traveling to partner sites to assist with the deployment, upkeep and troubleshooting of our technology in the field.
- Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and solutions.
- Monitoring estate performance, addressing any issues, and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Working with Partner Accounts to ship our devices to clients in a timely manner.
- Ensuring accurate stock movement is recorded on the company's asset inventory.
- Support the office based team in identifying and resolving internal software and hardware issues efficiently.
- Collaborating with other teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Keeping informed about industry developments and new technologies to enhance support capabilities.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in customer support / technical support or a related role.
- A solid understanding of basic IT tools such as MS Office.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
Desirable (but not essential) qualifications:
- Understanding of software and hardware troubleshooting methods.
- Relevant technical certifications.
As travel to partner sites is required, candidates must consent to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
