About The Role
As a locum Consultant Psychiatrist, you'll work within multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality psychiatric care to adults with complex mental health needs. Your responsibilities may include:

• Conducting psychiatric assessments and reviews
• Leading treatment planning and clinical decision-making
• Supporting junior medical staff and MDTs
• Liaising with community services and external partners

Review and manage patients in the Older Adults Mental Health Team. There will be sessions in both Memory and CMHT both in outpatient clinics and in patients' homes, also to provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team. Supervision of junior doctors Skills/Experience: Experience at consultant level in the field of Older Adults Mental Health, possession of MRCPsych and CCT in adult psychiatry Section 12 approved.

Essential
What We're Looking For

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Section 12/Section 22 and Approved/Responsible Clinician status (or eligibility)
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• Experience in adult mental health settings
• UK Right to Work
• A flexible, collaborative, and patient-focused approach

Desirable

• CCT in Old Age Psychiatry (or within 6 months of achieving it)
