Are you reliable, motivated, and ready to contribute to a cleaner, greener community?

We're looking for a dedicated Waste Operative to support the safe and efficient running of our Waste Transfer Station and help make North Lincolnshire a great place to live, work, visit, and invest.

Your Role: As a Waste Operative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Operating mobile plant machinery and loading collection vehicles
  • Opening and closing the site
  • Managing waste and maintaining site cleanliness and safety
  • Performing weighbridge duties
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental permit conditions

While your main base will be the Waste Transfer Station, you may also be asked to work at any of our Household Recycling Centres across North Lincolnshire.

What We're Looking For:

  • A team player with excellent customer service skills
  • Literate and numerate, confident in completing electronic and paper records
  • Skilled in operating machinery safely and efficiently
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Flexible and willing to work across various waste service sites
