An innovative and enthusiastic Computing Teacher is sought by a high-achieving Independent Girls' school in Islington. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop strong computational thinking and digital literacy skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating Computing Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Computer Science examinations and practical assessments.
- Foster a creative and problem-solving learning environment, encouraging innovation in technology.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Computing, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Computer Science or Computing.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Computing at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
- A strong and comprehensive understanding of programming languages and computer systems.
- Excellent communication and instructional skills, capable of making complex concepts accessible to all learners.
