Graduate Teaching Assistant – Islington

Graduate Teaching Assistant – What We're Looking For

  • A graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher in a relevant subject
  • At least 6 months' experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering)
  • A genuine ambition to Train to Teach and qualify as a secondary school teacher
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and a strong commitment to helping pupils achieve

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Your Role

  • Provide subject-specific support in your specialism (e.g. Maths, Science, English, Languages)
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to raise attainment
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
