Role Description

This is a subcontracted on-site role for a Retrofit Assessor located in the United Kingdom. The Retrofit Assessor will conduct thorough property assessments to determine energy performance, identify improvement measures, and ensure compliance with PAS 2035 standards.

Key responsibilities include undertaking assessments, supporting funding applications, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves providing information for stakeholder engagement with social housing providers and local authorities to deliver tailored solutions in line with government energy-efficiency initiatives and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in property assessments, energy efficiency evaluation, and compliance standards (e.g., PAS 2035)
  • Strong project management and reporting skills related to Retrofit measures and energy schemes
  • Experience collaborating with social housing providers, local authorities, and funding bodies
  • Technical understanding of SHDF
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently on-site and maintain meticulous records
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor or Retrofit Assessor qualification) are essential, Level 4 is desirable
  • Knowledge of building sciences and energy modeling tools is advantageous
