At parcelLab, we're reshaping how the world's leading brands manage the post-purchase experience.
Our post-purchase platform helps companies like John Lewis, Chico's, Yeti, AllSaints, and others transform every touchpoint into moments that drive customer engagement, build loyalty, and create customers for life.
We are currently seeking a Chief of Staff to partner closely with our founding team, driving strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment.
As a digital-first company, we offer greater flexibility in working location. We are looking for candidates based EU / Remote with preference for Munich or London
The Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical, execution-focused Chief of Staff to partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to scale operations and ensure operational excellence across parcelLab.
In this role, you will function as a strategic operator - helping translate our company strategy into execution, building scalable processes, driving cross-functional accountability and leading high-impact internal initiatives.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced business leader or rising operator who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations and data, and who wants to help build the backbone of a global, profitable SaaS organisation entering its next stage of growth.
What you'll do:
Strategic Planning & Performance
- Drive the company's strategic planning process (annual and quarterly, financial targets, operating plans) and ensure consistent execution across teams.
- Partner with Finance to align company goals with financial outcomes and operational KPIs, ensuring real-time view of performance across functions.
- Lead or manage critical company initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Identify and address operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or risks across internal processes.
- Ensure smooth execution of company-wide initiatives, including go-to-market enablement, org design, and resource planning.
- Own the company's internal operating rhythm - leadership meetings, business reviews, tracking and cross-team coordination.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Act as a connective link between all functions to drive clarity and accountability.
- Ensure decisions made at the leadership level are clearly communicated, tracked and delivered.
- Step in to lead special cross-functional projects where operational depth and speed are needed.
C-level Leverage & Internal Communication
- Closely collaborate with leadership on strategic analyses, decision memos, and key internal communications.
- Act as thought partner to manage priorities, follow-ups and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure transparent communication flow across the organisation, translating strategy into operational clarity.
Success in 12 Months
Within the first year, success for the Chief of Staff will include:
- Strategy Execution: Strategic initiatives are executed company-wide
- Cross-Functional Impact: Improved coordination between all teams lead to measurable improvements in speed, quality, and accountability.
- Efficiency Gains: Streamlined internal processes that reduce friction and increase productivity across departments.
- Operational Cadence: Established a predictable and efficient operating rhythm — geared towards impact.
- Strategic Leverage: The CEO and leadership operate with higher strategic bandwidth thanks to strong internal execution and communication systems.
What we're looking for:
- 5– years of experience in strategy, operations, or finance, ideally within a high-growth SaaS company or top-tier consulting/VC/PE environment.
- Proven track record leading or supporting large cross-functional initiatives in a global organisation.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Comfortable switching between executive-level strategy and tactical execution.
- Highly trusted, discreet, and capable of influencing without formal authority.
- Hands-on mindset - thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial, global environment.
Why join parcelLab:
- You'll join a passionate and collaborative global sales team with plenty of room to grow
- Competitive salary and benefits
- Exposure to high-growth accounts and verticals
- A culture that values creativity, experimentation, and ownership
