About the Role

We're now looking for a Head of Content in General Lifestyle to lead the editorial vision for some of our most powerful and culturally resonant brands, including LADbible, which ranks #1 in all-time views and engagements on both Facebook and Instagram. This is a Senior Leadership Role where you'll be responsible for setting the editorial tone and agenda across our lifestyle and entertainment verticals - guiding teams to create content that's clever, clickable, and completely unmissable. From viral moments and internet culture to real-world issues and human storytelling, you'll drive narratives that resonate with the social generation at scale.

You'll be shaping, developing and growing brands that are already household names - including LADbible, one of the most dominant voices on social media globally. These are platforms that reach two-thirds of all young adults in both markets, commanding unprecedented levels of attention, trust, and engagement. Your role will be instrumental in evolving their editorial identity, expanding their reach, and ensuring they continue to lead the cultural conversation on both sides of the Atlantic.

What the opportunity looks like

  • Set the Editorial Tone for LADbible Group & their brands: Establish and refine the editorial voice for all general lifestyle brands, ensuring content resonates with diverse audience segments and remains fresh and engaging.
  • Audience Forecasting: Use audience insights and performance data to inform editorial strategies that drive sustainable growth.
  • Innovative Content Development: Develop and deliver first-class, innovative content that connects with the general lifestyle audience on key topics such as culture, health, relationships, entertainment, and more. Ensure content remains fresh, timely, and relevant
  • Creative Ideation & Excellence: Lead the creation of editorial strategies that drive creative ideation and push boundaries in content production. Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high editorial standards and ensure content quality across all platforms.
  • Ensure Brand Consistency & Value Reflection: Ensure that editorial content aligns with the mission and values of the general lifestyle brands, providing a clear and consistent voice that speaks to the target audience's interests and aspirations.
  • Manage Editors & Editorial Team: Lead, support, and mentor a team of editors and content creators, setting clear goals, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and high-quality output.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner closely with business stakeholders (marketing, product, and sales teams) to align editorial strategies with broader business goals, helping to drive organic growth and brand awareness.
  • Champion SEO & Content Discovery: Collaborate with SEO specialists to ensure our content is discoverable and optimised for search, while maintaining editorial integrity and creativity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Working with our Betches counterparts in the US on ensuring insights, aligned strategies and editorial best practices flow across borders as we grow our global digital footprint

You know how to define vision, guide creative direction, and inspire teams to deliver standout content that speaks to millions, not just thousands
  • Cultural and Creative Visionary: You see where the audience is going, before they do. With a sharp editorial instinct and creative mindset, you know how to turn trends into stories and insights into impact. You bring original ideas to life across formats, platforms and markets with confidence, clarity, and flair.
  • Obsessed with Audiences, Powered by Data: You live and breathe audience behaviour. You don't just check the numbers, you act on them. You understand what engages and what doesn't, and use data as a creative springboard to evolve content strategy, sharpen tone, and drive sustained growth.
  • Collaborative Force with Influence: You're a natural communicator and trusted partner; whether you're working with commercial leads, writers, platform strategists or C-suite execs. You align teams around a common vision, champion cross-functional creativity, and bring people with you every step of the way.
