Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a proactive approach to team management and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and customers.

Duties

  • Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, including merchandising and stock replenishment, to ensure optimal product availability.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling shifts, managing payroll records, and maintaining accurate sales reports.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team-building activities.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in multilingual or bilingual capabilities being an advantage.
  • Solid organisational skills with effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in merchandising and sales management is highly desirable.
  • Administrative experience is beneficial for managing operational tasks effectively.
