Supervisor job description

The Cod’s Scallops is an award-winning fish and chip restaurant and take-away with 5 branches around the East Midlands. This vacancy is for our shop in West Bridgford, which is located in a prime location on Wilford Lane. We offer a wide range of fish and seafood, cooked in a variety of ways (not just battered) The shop has a take-away counter, as well as a licensed 40-cover restaurant. We serve food all day 6 days a week, in a relaxed, friendly, professional environment.

We are currently looking to add a talented and enthusiastic supervisor to our team, working under the General Manager, to assist in the running of this shop to our normal highest standards.

**Job Requirements**
- To run shifts in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Manager
- To assist the General Manager and Assistant Manager in the training and motivation of staff and in maintaining the highest standards of service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality, being the face of the shop and leading from the front
- To promote high standards of customer service and set the example to other members of the team
- The ability to work under pressure and consistently every shift
