If you're passionate about event technology, problem-solving, and operational excellence—we'd love to meet you.*Position Overview*The Event Technology Manager will lead configuration and deployment of digital and on-site event technology solutions across the Impact XM ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with Project Management, Client Services, and Digital teams to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions for registration, mobile apps, virtual environments, analytics, and on-site tools such as on-demand badging.This role combines hands-on production, solution design, and client-facing expertise. You will be a subject matter expert supporting internal teams, championing best practices, and driving innovation in evolving event technology platforms.*Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Technology Expertise*Configure and manage events within Cvent (multi-path registration, travel, accommodations)Deploy solutions using tools such as Swoogo, SpotMe, CrowdComms, and on-site badging systemsBuild invitation lists and registration workflows; manage event communications and content updatesGenerate standard and custom reports for teams and clients*Data Analysis & Reporting*Manipulate, filter, and interpret event registration data to provide insightsBuild recurring-use reporting templates and dashboardsPresent actionable findings for internal and client stakeholders*Website, Platform & Solution Development*Build and test registration websites, mobile apps, virtual platforms, and email campaignsDocument configuration and QA resultsApply working HTML knowledge to support content and customizations*Post-Event Insights*Build and distribute post-event surveysAnalyze results with internal teams to identify opportunities, trends, and improvements*Industry Awareness & Innovation*Stay current on emerging event technology platforms and capabilitiesRecommend platform enhancements and innovative solutionsSupport internal adoption of new tools and processes*Governance & Compliance*Follow company/client processes, templates, SLAs, and PL360 governanceEnsure data privacy and security standards are upheld at all timesParticipate in onboarding, training, and ongoing reinforcement of compliance practicesEscalate risk and privacy concerns proactively*Client Management*Participate in client meetings and provide clear updates on technology workstreamsTroubleshoot platform or process challenges and implement improvementsAttend project kickoff meetings and contribute requirements and solution designsDevelop and manage tech-specific timelines and supplier deliverablesSupport on-site delivery, including potential domestic and global travel*Operations, Planning & Financial Excellence*Identify efficiency, cost savings, and value-add opportunitiesNegotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationshipsMaintain accurate timesheets, expenses, and credit card reconciliationsCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless project executionSupport resource planning and workload reporting as required*What You Bring*Hands-on configuration experience with Cvent (required) and/or other event platformsStrong data reporting and Excel proficiencyExperience supporting on-site event technologyUnderstanding of HTML and email campaign platformsProven success delivering multiple projects simultaneouslyClient-facing experience and strong communication skillsExperience in hybrid/virtual events is a plusAbout Impact XMImpact XM is a global event and experiential marketing agency that empowers brands to power business.
