Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Nurse with a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent? We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our supportive team and help children in their crucial early developmental years.
As a Qualified Nursery Nurse, you will be a key person within our setting, responsible for:
- Providing High-Quality Care: Ensuring a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Planning & Delivering Activities: Creating and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Observing & Assessing: Tracking children's progress, maintaining accurate records, and tailoring activities to meet individual needs.
- Building Relationships: Fostering strong, positive partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
- Daily Routines: Assisting with daily tasks including mealtimes, basic hygiene practices, and changing nappies/toilet training.
- Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with colleagues and supporting students on placement to ensure a cohesive environment.
Requirements:
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma, NVQ Level 3).
- Experience of working within an early years setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and EYFS procedures.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and observational skills.
- A patient, caring, and creative nature, with the ability to remain calm and composed in all situations.
- A valid paediatric first-aid qualification is desirable (or willingness to obtain).
- Successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
