Due to our nursery expanding numbers with the new funding we have a few positions available. We are looking for some full and some part time practitioners. we have a number of roles that will be available.

You must have a warm smile that makes children feel special,

You must have a good sense of humour.

You must feel comfortable telling everyone in the room your going for a wee.

You must be able to take the role of pirate, princess, monster, doctor, nurse, mummy, daddy or baby at the drop of a hate or at the request of a child.

Pretend to drink invisible milk, tea and juice.

You must have a strong sense of smell and be comfortable walking around with unexplainable substances ok your clothing.

You must be able to have lots of fun in the work place and inspire children's ideas.

We are looking for a full time or two part time nursery practitioners to join our friendly team.

your role will be to:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum

- Supervise and engage children in play and learning experiences

- Assist with feeding, diapering, and toileting as needed

- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area

- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting

- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices

- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for children

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues

- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism

- A valid First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one)

- A clear background check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.30-£10.42 per hour
