Responsibilities:

  • Specialized Cooking (Core Focus): Solely responsible for the preparation and cooking of all rice items (steamed, fried rice, etc.)
  • Deep-Frying Expertise: Lead the execution of all fried food and appetizers, meticulously managing oil quality and temperature to ensure every item achieves perfect crispness and quality.
  • Customer Interaction: Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, clearly communicating menu options and order details.
  • Till Operation: Operate the cash register (till) to process payments, handle transactions, and reconcile sales as required.
  • Kitchen Support: Provide crucial, direct support to the Head Chef across all areas of food preparation and plating as required, ensuring smooth service flow.
  • Bilingual Communication: Effectively use fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English to ensure clear, precise instructions and coordination between all kitchen, front-of-house, and customer interactions.
  • Safety & Hygiene: Maintain rigorous standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in both kitchen and service areas.
