Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Manage patient records accurately using IT systems and maintain organised appointment schedules
  • Support patients through effective communication, addressing queries and explaining procedures clearly
  • Ensure the clinic maintains high standards of cleanliness and infection control
  • Support administrative tasks such as updating patient information and managing stock levels of dental supplies
  • Opportunities to train to use intra oral scanners and gain further qualifications in implant, sedation and X-rays.

Experience

  • Prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting is essential
  • Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
  • Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment scheduling
  • Organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently and maintain a tidy, well-stocked work environment
