**About The Dentist
A patient focussed practice that wants every clients dental journey to be a smooth and stress free as possible. This Dentistry knows that going to the dentist isn’t the top of everyone’s list of things to do, especially when Orthodontics is involved, andwants to change that by offer not only the most modern innovative procedures, but a friendly, welcoming and professional team to guide them through each stage of the process.
**About You
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude. An interest in Orthodontics and excellent people skills are a must as you will be working closely with both the patient and the larger dental team. You must alsohave great communication skills, in order to help patients during their time in the practice.
You will uphold the highest standard of professional practice. You will be assisting chair side, with decontamination, and will have some administrative duties such as record keeping and assisting with stock management.
**Skills Required
- To perform high quality orthodontic dental nursing whilst assisting the dentist or hygienist.
- To establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team
- To ensure that the surgical areas and equipment are maintained in accordance with health and safety and infection prevention policies
- To keep accurate records and ensure the recording methods are used in line with agreed practice policy and current medico-legal guidelines
- The post holder will work on their own initiative, with support from the Principal Dental Nurse, assuming full responsibility for the day to day running
