Our client is a major womenswear manufacturer headquartered in the Far East, employing over 100 people and producing high-quality fashion for global brands. Specializing in jersey, woven, and athleisurewear, they are committed to expanding their presence in the UK and European markets. This is a strategic hire, and the company is taking this opportunity seriously.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive new business development with UK and European retailers and supermarkets. This role is pivotal in building a strong pipeline and securing meetings with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a sales strategy to secure new business with major UK and European retailers and supermarkets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and procurement teams.
Confidently bring meetings to the table and convert opportunities into revenue.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and commission structures to maximize profitability.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product development and delivery.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.

Requirements ( the must have shopping list ):
Proven track record in womenswear manufacturing sales , proven track record of securing new business with high street retailers and supermarkets – this is essential.
A solid contact book of UK and European retailers and supermarkets.
Demonstrated ability to secure meetings and close deals.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure.
Willingness to travel across Europe as required.
Based within commutable distance to London (remote working available) and eligible to work in the UK
