Oxford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom University of Oxford Full time

Spanning the historic streets of the "city of dreaming spires," the University of Oxford has been ranked the world's leading university for nine consecutive years. A place where centuries of tradition meet world-changing innovation, we offer you the chance to shape the future while working in an inspiring environment that promotes excellence. Here, you'll contribute to ground-breaking research that tackles global challenges - from advancing sustainability to pioneering healthcare solutions - and join a diverse, inclusive community that champions your wellbeing, development, and aspirations. Apply now to become part of our extraordinary legacy.

The Digital Governance Unit sits at the heart of Oxford's Digital Transformation journey, helping the University's central IT providers adopt modern, agile and product-oriented ways of delivering digital services. We work collaboratively across departments to ensure that Oxford's digital ecosystem is user-focused, efficient, and continuously improving — enabling the University to meet the needs of its students, staff, and researchers in an increasingly digital world.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Operations Partner to join us on a permanent basis.

What We Offer

Working at the University of Oxford offers several exclusive benefits, such as:

  • 38 days of annual leave to support your wellbeing, with the option to purchase up to 10 extra days and additional leave after long service.

  • One of the most generous maternity and adoption leave schemes in UK higher education, offering up to 26 weeks of full-pay leave, followed by additional statutory and unpaid leave options.

  • A commitment to hybrid and flexible working to suit your lifestyle.

  • An excellent contributory pension scheme.

  • Affordable and sustainable commuting options, including a cycle loan scheme, discounted bus travel, and season ticket loans.

  • Access to a vibrant community through our social, cultural, and sports clubs.

About the Role

As a Product Operations Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how Oxford delivers its digital services. Working within the new Product Operations Team, you'll enable delivery teams to embed consistent, effective, and user-centred practices that drive value and innovation.

You'll work alongside product owners, delivery managers, and service leads to apply the University's Digital Operating and Delivery Models in practice — helping teams plan, collaborate, and improve. Through hands-on coaching, guidance, and enablement, you'll ensure teams are empowered to focus on outcomes, innovation, and the people who use our digital services.

This is a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact at one of the world's leading universities, helping Oxford realise the benefits of modern digital delivery and build a culture of continuous improvement.

About You

  • A degree or equivalent experience in IT service management, digital delivery, or a related field.

  • Practical experience supporting agile or product-oriented teams (e.g. delivery manager, scrum master, business analyst or service manager).
