Social Media Manager - Charity experience needed

Based in London - 4 days onsite

Our client's work spans brand strategy, advertising, content and design for clients across sectors including entertainment, FMCG, culture and non-profit.

The Role

We're looking for a
Social Media Manager
with a passion for storytelling, a sharp eye for visuals, and a knack for spotting what works online. You'll plan, create and manage social content across multiple platforms, helping clients grow their audiences and build meaningful connections.

From crafting copy and ideating campaigns to shooting and editing content, you'll be hands-on across every stage — and confident presenting ideas and reports to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Write captions, brief creatives and contribute to campaign ideas
  • Create and publish social-first content, tracking performance and engagement
  • Stay ahead of platform trends and analytics to inform strategy
  • Manage day-to-day client communication and performance reporting

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years in a social media, content or digital marketing role
  • Strong understanding of platform growth and engagement strategies
  • Confident in shooting, editing and posting content (using tools like TikTok, Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • Excellent writing, communication and organisational skills
  • Collaborative, creative and detail-oriented

Desirable

  • Experience with not-for-profits or community-focused organisations
  • Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
  • Strategic mindset with an interest in trends and culture
