Swinton North M, United Kingdom Anthem Music and Creative Arts Ltd. Full time

Music Workshop Leader (Primary Schools)

Are you a confident, energetic musician who enjoys working with young children and leading a room with authority and warmth? Anthem Tuition is looking for a strong, engaging classroom music teacher to deliver fun, structured music lessons in primary schools.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable taking charge of a class, follows a clear lesson structure, and can manage behaviour effectively while keeping lessons upbeat and engaging. Full lesson plans and topics are provided, your role is to deliver them confidently and consistently.

Hours

  • Tuesdays: 9:30am–3:30pm
  • Wednesdays: 9:30am–3:30pm

(10 hours per week of full-class music delivery)

About the Role

You will deliver whole-class music lessons to pupils in school settings. Anthem Tuition provides pre-made lesson plans, resources and weekly topics, so this role is about excellent delivery, strong presence, and positive behaviour management rather than planning from scratch.

You'll be expected to:

  • Handle challenging behaviour firmly and fairly

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging whole-class music lessons using provided plans and resources
  • Follow a clear lesson structure while adapting your delivery to suit the class
  • Manage behaviour confidently and consistently
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
  • Maintain professionalism, punctuality and reliability
  • Represent Anthem Tuition positively in school settings

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Confident and authoritative in front of a class
  • Calm, clear and consistent with behaviour management
  • Great with young children and able to build rapport quickly
  • Able to follow a structured plan and deliver it effectively
  • Organised, reliable and professional
  • Positive, energetic and enthusiastic about music

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Music degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Grade 8 (or equivalent) on an instrument
  • Experience teaching or leading groups of children
  • Experience working with SEND pupils
  • PGCE or teaching qualification

Why Join Anthem Tuition?
