Are you passionate about education and looking for a fulfilling career?

We're looking for a dedicated Pastoral Leader to join our fantastic team at Lift Broadlands.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the welfare, successful integration and wellbeing of our students. You will be instrumental in supporting the Senior Leadership Team to build and maintain a disciplined, yet caring ethos across the school. Our pastoral team is led by Brendon Abood (Assistant Principal) who manages all aspects of pastoral care across Lift Broadlands; we also have a Head of Key Stage 4 and Designated Safeguarding Lead; a Head of Key Stage 3 and another Pastoral Leader as well within our structure. All of the team care deeply about what they do and come together as a close-knit, professional and welcoming group.

We are a school that loves to offer education and opportunities outside of the classroom so we have a fantastic Enrichment Programme on offer to all students. If you have a specific passion, hobby or skill, we would warmly welcome you to become involved in that as well.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • promote and support positive behaviour and high levels of attendance from students
  • develop and deliver strategies to improve pastoral care.
  • liaise with students, staff, teachers, families, and agencies where required
  • support teachers to provide consistent pastoral care to students within their tutor group

This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people.

About our school:

We are a small, mixed, fully inclusive comprehensive school and remain one of the best choices for learning in the area. For every student who attends our academy, we aim to raise their aspirations, broaden their horizons and promote a life-long love of learning. We have an OFSTED 'Good' grading. We benefit from a number of links with the local community and have an excellent reputation.

It is a truly exciting time to join the team at Broadlands with the academy being led by our Principal, Laura Stone and Executive Principal, Richard Brand, who are passionate about ensuring that every student has access to an excellent education, in every classroom, every day.

And we do this across each of our 57 schools. As with our students, we want our team to be empowered to do their best work, supported by the best leadership they've ever had.

We acknowledge and appreciate the exceptional efforts of everyone here in making this an incredible organisation.

We offer you:

  • Comprehensive training: Access a wide range of developmental training to boost your career.
  • Generous benefits: From your pension plan to healthcare and financial support, we've got you covered.
  • Lifestyle perks: Enjoy discounted gym memberships, travel deals, and even electric vehicle incentives.
