Your Mission – What You'll Do

As an Account Executive (AE) for the Sports vertical in the UK, you'll play a pivotal role in driving new business growth and expanding SecuTix's footprint across the sports and live event ecosystem.

You'll identify, pursue, and close new opportunities with rights holders, clubs, venues, and event organizers who want to transform their fan and audience engagement through technology.

Working closely with Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Marketing, and Sales Operations, you'll lead the sales cycle from qualification to contract signature — representing SecuTix with professionalism, passion, and consultative expertise.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting and qualification through to contract negotiation and deal closure
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with sports rights holders, clubs, and venue decision-makers across the UK
  • Deliver persuasive product presentations and demonstrations, tailored to customer needs
  • Collaborate with the BDR team to convert leads and build a healthy pipeline
  • Represent SecuTix at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
  • Accurately forecast pipeline activity and maintain CRM (Salesforce) hygiene
  • Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Operations) to ensure a seamless customer experience

Who You Are

You're a proactive, results-oriented salesperson with a genuine passion for the sports and live events industry. You're motivated by building trusted relationships, closing meaningful deals, and helping clients achieve business transformation through technology.

You bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise sales (preferably in sports, entertainment, or ticketing sectors)
  • A strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • The ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Interest in sports, live entertainment, or technology-driven fan engagement
