Zone Networks Ltd is an IT and Security business based in West London, close to easy transport links. Due to the expansion of the business with an increasing number of new contracts, we are offering an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Intruder / Burglar Alarm Technician / CCTV Engineer to join our well-established team. It would be desirable if you have experience with Honeywell / Vanderbilt systems, and Hikvision/Hanwha CCTV Systems.
We work in a range of client environments including a large number of fast-food restaurants, schools and offices. Our clients are based within London and beyond. A work van will be provided. We are looking someone who can use their own initiative with great communication skills and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Visiting a wide range of client premises (mostly commercial) for:
- New alarm installations in accordance to design specification.
- Attending client premises for proactive and reactive maintenance of Intruder Alarms and CCTV systems.
- Alarm cabling, fault finding and programming of alarm systems.
Essential Skills and Requirements
- A full UK diving license
- Experience and ability to troubleshoot a range of Intruder Alarms (Honeywell, Galaxy, Texecom)
- Correct and safe usage of power and hand tools.
- Ability to fault find Power issues, Network Faults, Cable Faults, Alarm Faults
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow Plans and cable layouts.
- Able to project a respectable and professional image.
- Be able to work as part of a team but also independently.
- Willing to undertake further training and development
- Be able to accurately fill out paperwork.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with Analogue and IP CCTV (Hikvision, Hanwha)
- Experience with Access Control Systems (Paxton, Vanderbilt)
