We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Northamptonshire. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with all aspects of daily living, while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling career.

NN17 - Supporting a young female who lives at home with her family. Tasks include, stoma care, medication via PEG, Gastrostomy care, assisting with personal care, hygiene care, supporting with speech, reading, writing, including the use of sign language. Supporting with fun outings and activities.

Hours:

Monday 07:30 – 09:00

Tuesday 15:00 – 18:00

Wednesday 07:30 – 09:00 & 15:00 – 18:00

Thursday 15:00 – 18:00

Friday 15:00 – 18:00

Saturday 08:00 – 13:00

Due to the Nature of this role & the gender of the client, female carers are required for this post.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.

Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.

Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.

Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.

What We're Looking For:

A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.

A minimum of 6 months care experience & challenging behaviour experience is essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
