Job Summary

  1. Responsible for the technical insight work at the Huawei Edinburgh Research Centre, conducting regular technical research and gathering cutting-edge technology and industry developments from multiple channels, both domestically and internationally.
  2. Evaluate the potential applications and value scenarios of emerging technologies, closely collaborate with various business teams, and participate in the planning of the next technical direction, driving the transformation of technical insights into actionable outcomes.
  3. Based on cutting-edge technologies, provide technical strategic advice to support the planning and execution of various technical projects.

Qualifications

  1. Technical Insight: Have a keen awareness of top industry technologies, strong technical and industry insight, and the ability to quickly understand and summarize technological development trends.
  2. Foundational Software Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of foundational software concepts and architecture, with technical expertise in areas such as large models, systems, databases, compilers, and programming languages.
  3. Innovative Thinking: Strong forward-thinking ability to identify the commercial potential of emerging technologies and provide strategic support for technological innovation and project development.
  4. Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with technical experts and business teams, deeply understand technical needs, and drive the implementation of technology.
  5. Mandarin Proficiency: Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Background in or experience with technical projects in large models, systems, databases, compilers, and programming languages is preferred.
