What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
  • Running the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
  • Leading and motivating the kitchen team during service
  • Ensuring food is consistently prepared and presented to high standards
  • Overseeing food hygiene, health & safety compliance, and kitchen cleanliness
  • Assisting with menu development, stock management, and waste reduction
  • Training and mentoring junior team members
  • Contributing ideas and helping the business grow

What We're Looking For:

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 minimum) – Level 3 preferred
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or senior chef role in a fresh-food kitchen
  • A confident leader with strong organisational skills
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Passion for great food and delivering a fun customer experience
