About The Role:
Main Purpose:
To assist and support the Duty Managers to deliver a comprehensive service to our client. To receive customers, take bookings, reconcile cash, answer the telephone and aid the public in compliance with contractual requirements while maintaining high standards of customer care.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To actively promote the professional, friendly, welcoming and caring image of the Centre when assisting members of the public.
- Responsible for taking bookings and recording these bookings on the FES Pylon booking system and the Gladstone System.
- Responsible for the taking of cash for services provided within the Centre and the reconciliation of said cash.
- Responsible for answering the telephone.
- Responsible for ensuring visitors, contractors, etc. who attend the Centre on official business are inducted in accordance with FES FM T2 procedures.
- To carry out certain administration duties to support the operation of the Centre and the Duty Managers.
- To assist with the organisation of events and promotion of the Centre.
- These duties and responsibilities may be changed in accordance with the needs of the company; the post holder may be required to provide support to holders of other posts according to changes in workload and patterns of working.
Skills & Knowledge:
- An experienced Receptionist with at least 3 years' relevant experience or person with at least 3 years' experience in a clerical position.
- SVQ Level II (Administration)
- HNC Office/Business Administration
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
- Strong customer facing skills
- Proactive and flexible team player.
- Ability to react under pressure
- Attention to Detail
- Computer literate
- Ability to prioritise.
- Cash handling
