Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen at The Garden House — a beautiful country pub serving classic, seasonal dishes made with quality local produce.

Working with an established group menu that's already proven popular, you'll have the freedom to add your own flair through seasonal specials, local ingredients, and creative presentation — bringing your own touch to a trusted formula.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and motivating a small, dedicated kitchen team.
  • Delivering a consistent, high-quality menu to brand standards.
  • Creating and running seasonal specials that showcase local produce.
  • Managing kitchen operations, including stock control, GP, hygiene, and safety.
  • Working closely with the management team to ensure smooth service and a great guest experience.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous ready to step up.
  • A passion for fresh, seasonal, and local cooking.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • High standards of organisation, cleanliness, and consistency.
  • A calm, positive presence in a busy kitchen.
