Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop their skills. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their curiosity and creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and any concerns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to childcare.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
  • A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience in developing educational programmes tailored to individual children's needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
