Salary - £30,000.00pa

Job Purpose:

The overall purpose of the role is to coordinate all insurance related administration activities for the Owens Group. Liaising with our Insurers and Brokers on all motor claims, goods in transit, warehouse damages, forklift truck claims and third-party claims.

Main duties:

Ensure timely reporting of incidents via our insurance company online app.

Maintain accurate claim records.

Liaise with our broker and insurer to support effective claim defence and cost control.

Producing a weekly claims report in order to provide accurate management reports.

Liaise with internal team on such items as, repair costs, customer claims and accident investigation.

Ensure contractual terms are clear under RHA Conditions of carriage and CMR

Manage communication with Third Party insurers.

Liaise with ARAG Legal motor legal protection providers.

Co-ordinate and liaise with operational teams to ensure the accident portal inputs are up to date & accurate

Attending quarterly review meetings with our broker and insurer in order to review the key performance indicators and continuously improve our insurance management.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of the insurance industry experience in a similar role is ideal but experience of a role with transferable skills and knowledge i.e. commercial vehicle transport experience.

Confident demeanour with good communication skills; both written and verbal, required in order to communicate at diverse levels including members of the public through to the Board of Director.

Good level of numeracy and analytical skills, together with IT literacy
