The Reservations Advisor
We're currently looking for advisors to join our fun and friendly team based in Bournemouth - but don't think this is just like every other call centre role.
We don't work to specific call targets, there's no repetitive scripts to learn and you'll enjoy selling holidays to our loyal customers. You'll be part of a team where everyone knows your name and you'll get to enjoy a fun and friendly environment.
The role is full time and includes weekend work on a rota basis - you'll typically work one full weekend and one Saturday or Sunday per month. To ensure our high service levels, we operate a variety of shifts but there's not silly early starts or super late nights – our earliest shift is 8am – 4.30pm and our latest is 9.30am – 6pm. Sunday we're only open 9am – 3pm and you get a full day off in the week in lieu, so you've still got plenty of time for a life outside work.
Duties and skills
As a Reservations Advisor you'll be the primary contact for inbound calls for all hotels. You'll become an expert in all areas of our holidays and assist our customers with selecting the right break for them.
Duties:
Deliver excellent customer service
Answer inbound calls dealing with new and existing bookings, taking payments, amending bookings and dealing with brochure requests.
Answer customer emails and chat service
Working closely with the various hotels and coach travel team in relation to on the day travel enquiries.
Sending booking paperwork and brochures
Skills:
We're looking for people with the following skills. Any previous travel our tourism experience is welcome but certainly not essential as full training will be provided.
While we aim to provide a fun working environment, we are looking for people that are hardworking and self-motivated and have a willingness to learn new skills.
You'll be someone that works well in a team, has good communication skills and has a desire to deliver excellent customer service.
You'll be provided with full training on our dedicated reservation system, however you should already have good computer skills.

Our offices are based in our Bournemouth Sands Hotel which enjoys a great position on Bournemouth's West Cliff which is near to the beach, clifftop park and provides good transport links and is a short walk from Bournemouth's town centre – plus there's free on-site parking
Once you've been with us for at least 6 months, you'll be able to take advantage of our friends and family holiday discount scheme and you'll also benefit from £400 holiday vouchers each year to allow for travel to any of our hotels.
You'll also benefit from a 50% discount at our hotel coffee shop and be able to soak up some sun on our popular roof terrace.
