Vessel Operator - Tanker/Container vessels

Location: United Kingdom - Glasgow

Working Location: Office based

We are currently searching for a Vessel Operator to add to our team.

The ideal candidate would preferably have sailing experience on Container/Tanker vessels as Deck Officer and/or at least one year of shore-based maritime experience in

an operational/commercial role.

Due to the need for collaboration across the business, good teamwork is considered an essential skill . The role requires close contact and coordination with Commercial, Technical and HSEQ departments. This job role would suit a person with natural problem-solving skills, who is able to make timely decisions under pressure.

Primary role responsibility is to support the team with day-to-day Operational & Commercial matters, liaising with Master's and Charterers as required.

Typical duties include but are not limited to updating vessel data, vessel clearance, stowage plans, tank cleaning, reefer management, bunker buying, Fuel-Eu & ETS management.

Due to the requirements of the job, the successful candidate will be expected to live within reasonable travelling distance of Glasgow.
