A respected and thriving independent estate agency in Orpington is looking for a confident and engaging Viewing Guide / Sales Negotiator. In this key client-facing role, you'll meet and greet potential home hunters, guide them through property viewings, and help showcase homes to their best advantage. You'll provide accurate information about each property and its surrounding area, leaving a lasting positive impression.

This position is ideal for someone local with a passion for property, strong community ties, and excellent people skills. Previous experience in estate agency is preferred but not essential—the company is open to applicants with transferable skills and the right attitude. 

The is initially a maternity cover role which may lead to a permanent role. 

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

• Meeting and greeting potential buyers
• Conducting viewings of local properties
• Highlighting key property features and answering buyer questions
• Providing accurate knowledge about both the property and local area
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Generating leads for market appraisals
• Supporting the sales team from offer to completion
• Representing the agency with professionalism and enthusiasm 

What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):

• Ideally local to Orpington, with strong community connections
• Previous estate agency experience (preferred, not essential)
• Transferable skills from face-to-face customer service roles
• Impeccable timekeeping and reliability
• Professional appearance and faultless communication
• Personable, confident, and highly presentable
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required
