We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Live-in Carers to provide exceptional, person-centred care and support to clients in their own homes across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. This rewarding role allows you to make a meaningful difference by helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in a familiar environment.

As a Live-in Carer, you will reside with the client, offering continuous care and companionship while supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. All positions are paid, including internships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Administer medication safely and accurately, following prescribed protocols.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
  • Support clients with mobility challenges using safe moving and handling techniques.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies for individuals with dementia or other cognitive conditions.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support, helping clients stay socially engaged and mentally stimulated.
  • Assist with household tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
  • Accompany clients to appointments or outings, ensuring safe transportation when required.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date care records and report any changes in health or behaviour promptly.
  • Provide sensitive and professional support for hospice or palliative care needs when necessary.

Experience & Requirements

  • Previous experience in live-in care, home care, or residential settings is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer's, and elderly care practices.
  • Experience in medication administration and first aid is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with behaviour management for individuals with cognitive impairments.
  • A valid UK driving licence is preferred for roles that involve travel or escorting clients.
  • Must be empathetic, reliable, organised, and committed to delivering exceptional care.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £8,000.00-£10,000.00 per week
