The InPost Newstrade division specialises in final-mile delivery for newspaper publishers and magazine distributors, covering 75% of the UK and Ireland with a 45% market share. Operating from 36 locations, it delivers almost 1bn newspapers, magazines, and collectibles to around 21,000 customers. The division includes core final-mile operations, magazine primary distribution, corporate distribution, outsourced retail consultancy, and airside media placement.

Location: InPost, Imperial Park, Siskin Parkway West, Coventry, CV3 4PB

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday

Hours: Monday 04:00am - 12:30pm / Tuesday - Friday 06:00am - 14:30pm

Salary: £32,278.22 per annum

What you'll be doing:

Lead and inspire a dedicated warehouse team, driving performance and fostering a positive, results-oriented culture.

Oversee the movement, storage, and accuracy of goods, ensuring all stock is handled efficiently, safely, and in line with company procedures.

Collaborate closely with Warehouse Management to ensure operational and goods-handling targets are met and exceeded.

Serve as the go-to expert for Warehouse Operatives, offering guidance and support to maintain a smooth, efficient workflow.

Monitor goods in, ensuring timely receipt, quality checking, and correct placement of incoming stock.

Identify and solve operational challenges quickly, escalating when necessary to keep the team and goods flow on track.

Champion high-quality standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and product-handling protocols.

Deliver effective training that equips team members with the skills and confidence to handle goods efficiently and maintain accurate inventory records.

What we need from you:

Proven experience thriving in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of goods flow and stock control.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively under pressure.

Hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of issues.

Confident multitasker, capable of meeting strict deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

Strong communication and leadership skills, able to engage, motivate, and support both team members and key stakeholders.

Eligibility to work in the UK, with valid Right to Work documentation required.
