Integrated Case Management are currently recruiting for a Female Support Worker for a female adult to work 1:1 in the client's own home. You will form part of an existing 24-hour team, providing all care, including personal care, assistance with medication and clinical tasks, moving and handling, meal preparation, therapy programmes, transport and domestic tasks.

You will also be required to support the client on holiday/respite/hospital admissions. This role requires a full clean driving licence and a requirement to drive the client's vehicle.

The client has communication difficulties so good verbal communication and listening skills are essential. You must be confident with dogs.

The post follows a 3-week rolling rota:

  • AM shift 8am to 4pm
  • PM shift 4pm to 10pm/11pm
  • Sleep in 10pm/11pm to 8am
  • Weekends and weekdays
  • Bank holidays
  • Plus 10/15 minute paid handover

Week 1

  • Monday 8am to 4pm
  • Wednesday 8am to 4pm
  • Thursday sleep 10pm to 8am

Total = 16 hours and 1 sleep

Week 2

  • Monday 4pm to 10pm
  • Monday sleep 10pm to 8am
  • Wednesday 8am to 4pm
  • Friday 4pm to 11pm
  • Friday sleep 11pm to 8am
  • Saturday 8am to 4pm

Total = 29 hours and 2 sleeps

Week 3

  • Monday 8am to 4pm
  • Wednesday 8am to 4pm
  • Thursday sleep 10pm to 8am
  • Friday 8am to 4pm
  • Sunday 4pm to 11pm
  • Sunday sleep 11pm to 8am

Total = 31 hours and 2 sleeps

Pay Rates

  • Weekday - £13.66 per hour
  • Weekend - £15.68 per hour
  • Sleep-in rate (weekday) - £99.84 per night
  • Sleep-in rate (weekend) - £115.50 per night
  • Bank Holiday days - £24.80 per hour
  • Bank Holiday sleep - £191.70 per night
