Job Summary
The Vulnerability Manager is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and remediating vulnerabilities in our assets, systems, and applications. This role requires a strong understanding of security controls, risk management, and vulnerability assessment techniques.

Responsibilities and Duties
Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools to identify potential security weaknesses in our environment. Risk Prioritization: Analyse findings from vulnerability assessments and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk level, business impact, and compliance requirements. Vulnerability Remediation: Collaborate with the IT and development teams to develop and implement remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that our organization's vulnerability management program aligns with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, Cybersecurity Essentials) and regulatory requirements. Incident Response: Participate in incident response efforts related to identified vulnerabilities and provide guidance on containment and remediation procedures. Security Controls Maintenance: Monitor and maintain security controls, such as EDR, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software, to prevent exploitation of identified vulnerabilities. Reporting and Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our vulnerability management program and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.Candidate Profile
Essential:
Experience in cybersecurity or a related field Proven experience with vulnerability assessment tools Experience with risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential security threats Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDesirable
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent security certifications Strong understanding of security protocols, threat modeling, and risk management principles Experience with vulnerability scanning tools in hybrid environments Familiarity with DevOps practices and secure development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies Knowledge of penetration testing frameworks (e.g., PTES, PTESS) Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash or PowerShellBenefitsIn addition to a competitive salary, Graphcore offers flexible working, a generous annual leave policy, private medical insurance and health cash plan, a dental plan, pension (matched up to 5%), life assurance and income protection.
