Baaz Sameday Ltd is a rapidly growing UK-based courier and logistics company providing same-day, next-day, and scheduled transport services nationwide. We operate a modern fleet ranging from small vans to 26T trucks, including ADR and temperature-controlled transport. We are now expanding our business development team to target corporate, manufacturing, retail, NHS, and e-commerce clients.

Role Overview
The Business Development & Contracts Manager will be responsible for:
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities in the UK logistics and courier sector.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers across industries.
• Preparing and submitting contract proposals, tenders, and SLAs.
• Managing the entire sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract signing.
• Coordinating with operations to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
• Tracking KPIs, preparing reports, and ensuring all activities align with company growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
• Source, negotiate, and secure new transport contracts.
• Develop leads through your existing network and industry connections.
• Attend meetings, trade shows, and networking events to promote Baaz Sameday.
• Maintain detailed CRM records and report weekly activity and pipeline updates.
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations to ensure seamless execution.
• Ensure all client communication is handled professionally and in line with company standards.

Requirements
• Proven experience in courier, logistics, or transport sales / contract management.
• Strong industry connections and ability to generate new business quickly.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, remotely, and deliver measurable results.
• Familiarity with B2B logistics, tenders, and framework contracts (e.g., NHS, councils) is an advantage.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
