Bank Occupational Therapist (Band 6/7 Equivalent)

Salary: £25.00 per hour (equivalent to £50,000 per annum, Band 7 equivalent)

Location: Yorkshire Region/ Flexible / Client-based / Some home working

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist working at Band 6/7 level, looking for flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to specialise? This is a senior-level OT opportunity, equivalent to Band 7, offering the freedom of bank work with the pay and recognition of a specialist post.

What You'll Do

  • Lead comprehensive initial assessments and provide clear, specialist recommendations.
  • Deliver hands-on therapy across a range of complex needs.
  • Produce high-quality reports and clinical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, case managers, and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Bring senior-level clinical judgement to support safe, effective, and person-centred care.

About You

We are looking for OTs who are already working at high Band 6 or Band 7 level and can demonstrate:

  • HCPC registration and relevant professional qualifications.
  • Significant experience in one or more specialist areas (assistive tech, ABI, spinal injury, mental health, paediatrics, home adaptations).
  • Confidence in both specialist assessment and complex intervention planning.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly and independently, while upholding the highest professional standards.
  • A genuine passion for making a difference through specialist, client-centred therapy.
